Lindzi is 14 months old now... She is becoming very independant. She knows what she wants and doesn't let anyone stand in her way - so watch out! She has a temper! She screeches more than I'd like to hear! She also wants to feed herself now so she makes 10 times the mess than if i were feeding her. Oh well I don't mind the mess as much as the screeching. She likes everything that has buttons on it like the phone. She's already called the police once, so now she can't have the phone at all. She likes the computer, but she can pull keys off, so that's a no-go now. She likes to push the buttons on the alarm and she likes to turn light switches on and off. She also loves my van keys and she's discovered that if you push the panic button, the van will start honking. She loves to do that. She pretty much loves everything that she shouldn't have!! It's a little frustrating to say the least. She has also decided that she likes the dog treats and she doesn't want to share with the dog!! She also likes spaghetti, pudding and fruit snacks. Hopefully she'll out grow some of it very soon. Her terrible two's may be cruel and unusual punishment... we'll see. It's a good thing she's cute. Oh, how I understand what you're going through. Times two. My girls are fascinated with the phone, the computer, the piano, the dishwasher, etc. Anything they can push, especially if it makes noise. They also prefer to feed themselves. Cora almost won't take any food from me anymore. It is so much messier. But she has to eat, so I deal with the mess.
To keep the girls from destroying my keyboard, Ray found an old keyboard he had stashed in the garage (he used to work on computers a little bit). He cleaned it up and gave it to the girls. They've been pounding away on it all evening. I don't know why we even buy them real toys.
