Santa Fun run and Parade!!!
We went to the Santa 5k fun run/parade. Dad and Steven participated. You have to wear a santa hat and beard to participate..... some wore full santa suits! It was a sight seeing hundreds of santas running! After the race, we watched the parade and then went to Gandolfo's Deli for dinner. It got a bit cold after a while, but we were all pretty bundled up.... but we all still had a great time!

Homemade Pumpkin Pie
Well I unintentionally bought this pumpkin at Halloween thinking it was the cheap 9 cents a pound carving pumpkins.... then found out it was a sugar pie pumpkin...... and it cost as much as the biggest jack o lantern I bought. I decided I'd better use it up and make a pie with it. I have never made a pumpkin pie from an actual pumpkin.... so i found recipe online.
I cut it in half and scooped the goop and seeds out first.
Then I steamed the pumpkin for 30 minutes.

I'm lovin' fall!!!
I am really loving fall this year!!! The colors have been so beautiful and the weather for the most part has been nice. We did have a storm in the end of october, but it was short lived. I know there is supposed to be another storm coming in tomorrow, so i know the nice weather is coming to an end soon, but it has been so nice lately. I am really enjoying this fall.
