Our ward Christmas party/breakfast

We had our annual Christmas party and breakfast this morning. We enjoyed eggs, bacon, french toast and chocolate milk. The girls enjoyed it. Unfortunately our "usual Santa" got called to his santa job with the city unexpectedly, and so at the last minute, there wasn't going to be a santa's lap to sit on ... boo. Our Bishop sat in his place, but it just wasn't the same oh well. Lindzi went over and snagged her candy cane with out talking to the bishop!! I guess we'll have to see how she reacts to Santa next year. And Desi is apparently too old to wait in line for a candy cane....

Lindzi's birthday party!!

We celebrated Lindzi's birthday today! We had the family over for hamburgers and hotdogs... yum! Then we had cake and ice cream of course and opened presents ...yay! Brenda and Nick and Jonas stopped in for a while, but they had to go early to make their ward Christmas party. Jeff had to work and Nick Weekes had to work. It was a snowy day here, just like the day that Lindzi was born! Happy Birthday Lindzi!

Lindzi's birthday cakes!!

Lindzi gets two cakes this year...... only by accident. I was going to make a three layer cake, but had some problems after the cakes had baked. I knew the two bottom layers wouldn't support that much weight. So i went with plan B... a two layer cake and a little smash cake. They still turned out really cute, so i'm still happy with the results. Lindzi loves them too, she keeps wanting to get up on the counter and touch them. I already had to replace a dot that Lindzi snuck off and ate!!!
