Anniversary Inn... Again!
Well we had such a great time in July at the anniversary inn, that we decided to do it again! This time we stayed in the Romeo and Juliet Suite the first night, and the Palace Suite the second night. They were both beautiful rooms.... but we've decided that we like the bed to be on the main level with the thermostat, because it kept getting too hot! It was also a bit of a pain to have to go up and down the stairs for the bathroom or to get a drink etc.... The next day we had some fun doing some Christmas shopping and then had lunch at the Garden.
We went back to the inn and did a little tour of some of the other rooms.... there are some nice ones there. We walked around Trolley square for a bit and had an ice cream there. Then came back to settle into the Palace room. It was all on one level... so that was a plus, and very beautiful
The next day we went to the Temple and did Chris' work... so it was extra special. When we got home we were glad to see the girls had fared well. Lindzi did good until bedtime when she really missed me, but other than that, she did very well.
John in the lobby.

Chocolate Ganache Recipe
the recipe for the ganache is simple... it is 1 pint of heavy whipping cream and a little more than a bag of chocolate chips. When i looked up recipe's online they vary quite a bit.. some adding butter some adding honey.. some a pinch of salt... but this one is simple. Just heat up the whipping cream on the stove on LOW heat until it barely boils.. just barely. Then you pour it over the chocolate chips that are in a metal bowl and stir until it looks all chocolatey and lovely. Some recipes say you need to use the chocolate that is like 70 percent cacao ... but i just used semi sweet chips. try it it's yummy!! You can also just make a half batch if you prefer it makes quite a bit! Once it is totally cool you can also spread it like frosting!
