Daytona Beach Florida

We only spent one night in Daytona... but it was beautiful there.

We walked along the beach and did some shopping until we had to check out and head for the airport.

I didn't know there was a restaurant named after me.. but what's with the ugly bearded guy on the sign... and they added an E on the sign.. hmmm ... Sloppy Jo is a nickname John calls me whenever anything gets spilled on me at like a restaurant or even just eating at home... but his nickname for when he does the same is Messy Marvin :)

Last day on the ship and Daytona Beach

Our view from the balcony 11 stories up..... when we got in to our room in the afternoon, sad to say, but we stayed up there doing all the laundry from the past 10 days.... instead of going down to the beach. But in my defense i was tired and didn't feel like walking around and I did not want to go home with tons of dirty laundry when the condo had a washer and dryer right there. So I did laundry while watching murder mystery shows like dateline, and John watched football on the other tv.... it was actually very relaxing and enjoyable :) We ordered in some chinese and it was great. Plus we got plenty of beach walking and sight seeing the next day.

Cozumel Mexico

We ate some authentic Mexican pork tacos.. they were delicious

Ready to go to dinner and the show. John really wanted me to dress up every night.. so right before the trip we went shopping at Ross' .. the only problem was everything cute just had tiny straps. So I bought a shrug and borrowed this off white shrug from Desi. When we got home, Desi inherited all 5 dresses (unless i need to borrow one here or there) Since they are fancier than i would generally wear for church. She loved all the dresses...She was in heaven.

We took a bus ride tour of Belize city, Belize and then onto the ruins of Altun Ha

Another lovely sunset

Roatan Honduras

it was rainy on and off on our first port, Roatan Honduras. Since we didn't have any planned excursions for this day we just decided to shop and look around. The people are pretty poor and there is always someone trying to get you to take this tour and that tour.... even a few young boys approached us with wanted to show us around (they would say " we can take you on a walk"). We gave two boys a dollar each, at different times during our outing, so they would stop following us ... they were cute, but kind of annoying when they are following you around everywhere like a shadow. There were these two adorable girls (pictured above) who were running one of their families souvenir shops. They were so well spoken and just so cute. We bought a few souvenirs from their shop. They were on a break from their school they said.


We had a soda from this place called Fonsies so we could use their wi-fi and so i could email the girls.

a view down into the ship's atrium. We boarded the Norwegian Star on Sunday Jan 15th and left Tampa, Fl for Roatan Honduras.
