Chris is 17!

Before Chris got home..


I couldn't get a picture of the cake with Chris before we left on vacation.. so here it is after he and some of his friends had some!

Wow my oldest two are growing up alarmingly fast. Ever since Amanda graduated last year, it's been a roller coaster with life changes with those two. Chris is now a licensed driver! Watch out world. He turned 17 on August 11th. He was at his mom's for his birthday. When he got home i had a cake ready for him. Unfortunately we already left on our mini vacation. We had to be there on a certain date and couldn't wait for him to get home. He celebrated with some of his friends (which he didn't mind). He is always wanting to hang out with friends these days and is barely ever home with friends and work. Family is now second with Chris and Amanda, but it's to be expected i suppose. After this school year they will both be graduated! Wow. Amanda originally planned on going to college here, but now looks like she'll be staying with her mom and working and going to school there.
