Lindzi turned 17 months old yesterday. I can't believe she's almost a year and a half. Lindzi is starting to be more vocal now. She doesn't always say words but she jabbers a lot or screeches. She can say ma ma, da da, na na (banana), nose, eye (and she will point to your nose or eye) and hello which is what she calls the phone and she also can say bye and wave bye bye. She attempts to say diaper and it's pretty close. If you are drinking something and she wants a drink, she will open her mouth and say aaaa! If she wants something she will take your hand and lead you to wherever and point to it. She loves trying on everyone else's shoes and then she will try to walk in them...it's really cute! She also knows the things i don't want her to do like turn off the tv while we are watching it or push the other buttons on it. She likes the phones so we have to keep those away from her. She likes to climb on chairs and get things from table or try to get to my computer. Another naughty thing she does is she will dump the dog's water dish or food.... this one only happens when she finds the bathroom door open. I had to put them in there because of little lindzi or they would be dumped on a daily basis!! She almost always has a bruise or scratch on her head from her many clutzy moments. She's my only true binky baby.... the others didn't have anything to do with one except for Desi who had one occasionally. Lindzi loves the binky... i don't know how hard this will be to take away when the time comes, we'll have to see. The binky has saved my sanity so many times in the past 17 months!!! She loves baths. Lindzi loves her little books and she will bring you a book and then back up into you.. meaning she wants you to put her on your lap!! She loves our little dog, buster. She loves to give him treats and sample them for herself too! For some reason she likes to eat non foods such as lotion, crayons, and dog treats. Her favorite foods are pudding, cereal, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, fruit and ice cream. She loves to go outside and run around. She sure is a LOT of work, but she is also a lot of FUN to have around!!

Lindzi is so close in age to my girls that I totally understand what you're going through right now. It's nice to know my girls aren't the only one eating non-food items (I've never figured out why they will put ANY non-food item in their mouths, but they won't try food).
Also, I was just noticing how much hair Lindzi has. It's way longer than Ruby's, probably about the same as Cora's.
