GOODBYE COLD AND SNOW...HELLO SUN AND WARM!!!
our little rental car ... a dodge attitude.
yes.... as sick and wrong as it was...... our first meal in mexico was at McDonalds. But in our defense, we were all travel tired and hungry and it was the first place we saw and there wasn't much there between the airport and the resort! And John really enjoyed his double cheese burger!!!!
The flight was smooth overall thank goodness, and i survived in good spirits. Once we got to mexico, though, it was a bit of a hassle with the car rental. The first company that we went to were trying to charge too much... so by the time we got back to the airport and found a decent rental we were a bit frazzled. Then finding our way to the resort took a little time and effort since we were unfamiliar with the area and it was dark. Luckily Randy and John have a little better sense of direction than Michele and I and we made it there safely.
