We wanted to go to Victoria Canada. So we got up bright and early to catch the ferry. It was about an hour and a half ferry ride. It was pretty fun to see the other islands... we even got to see some killer whales out in the ocean!

When we got off the ferry we took a ride on the double decker bus.. that was very fun!

the Parliament building
We walked around and took a tour of the parliament building... it was very pretty inside. After walking around a while and taking in the sights we decided to get a bite to eat at the mcD's in downtown Victoria. It was a two story McD's and had chandeliers!!!

a very cool tree in Beacon Hill park

they had beautiful gardens there
Lindzi loved her mermaid tale!

Lindzi was exhausted!
Then near the end of the day we missed the bus we need by just 2 minutes and had to wait an hour. Once we got on the bus and made it to the ferry terminal we bought our tickets for what we thought was the 8 o clock ferry, but on further inspection saw that it was for the 9 oclock ferry. When we asked about it they said that they weren't running an 8 o clock ferry that night!!! aaaaak! We had to wait yet another hour to board the ferry and we were all tired!
She was revived and having fun in the play area on the ferry going home

Well we finally got on the ferry at nine and made it back to our cars shortly before 11 pm and then had to drive back to the condo. It was a fun day, but by the end it was long and tiring.

That looks like a lot of fun.
My family lived in Victoria before I was born and Loved it. Love those fun, long, exhausting vacation days!
