Happy Father's Day!

We went to the splash pad on Saturday with my Mom, Dad, Steven and Brenda, Nick and Jonas. They wanted to check out the new park/splash pad and have a little Father's Day picnic. It was a warm day so it was more fun for the kids than before on Thursday. Even Brenda played on the splash pad with the girls. We compared Jonas and Lindzi on height and Lindzi is still ahead (not for long though). Jonas is catching up fast! Then today, Sunday, John made it home from the Railroad in time for church (a rare thing lately) and for Father's day. He was hoping for a candy bar or something like that today for the fathers. Unfortunately, they didn't give out anything this time. The poor Dads :( Anyway we came home, and I made him homemade pizza at his request. The kids signed a card for him and gave him a candy bar and a jar that holds change and counts the money as you put it into the jar. It was nice to go to church with everyone in attendance. Sometimes Chris has to work, and now that Amanda is spending most of the summer at her moms and then with Johns work, it is a rare thing. So it was a nice Sunday.
