We had fun at the Shaw reunion on Saturday. It was sooo cold though. Especially for August. We stayed wrapped up in blankets for a good part of the day. They even had a fire going in the fire pit which helped a lot. It was overall enjoyable to visit and see relatives and cousins. Lindzi and Jonas rode the carousel and Jonas absolutely loved it!!! He was grinning from ear to ear the whole ride. It was his first ride ever. Lindzi loved it too, but she's been on one quite a few times before. The girls had fun playing tag with some of their second cousins. Amanda and Nick also came over for a little while in the afternoon. There was a really cute splash park there too unfortunately it was too cold to use it....little did I know that i should have packed jackets and long sleeved shirts instead of swimming suits and towels - oh well.
